Our 70% dark chocolate is crafted with beans sourced from the heart of the Solomon Islands. It has a rich flavor profile with notes of honey, malt, and caramel. The ingredients include cacao beans, organic cane sugar, organic cacao butter, and non-GMO sunflower lecithin. Plus, it’s vegan-friendly! This delectable chocolate has received accolades, including bronze medals from the Australian Food Awards in 2019 and the Academy of Chocolate in 2021

Tasting

Snap:

• Sharp/good temper

Melt:

• Sluggish due to texture (see texture)

Aroma:

• Sun dried peaches and orange blossom honey

Texture/Mouth feel:

• Thick, viscous, and rough. More like a seed paste or ground spices. The particles were detectable

Taste

• Prominent notes of citrus - particularly orange and lemon and almost burnt taste note. There was a very faint note of honey, which struggled to be fully expressed due to the roast profile and the course texture.
